Runix Go respects the privacy of its users. The following policy outlines which information is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected.

1. Data Collected and Purpose of Processing

a) Location Data
The app uses the device's precise location solely to record walking or movement routes. Location data is collected only during an active recording session.

b) Route Data & Snapshots
Recorded routes and automatically generated map images ("snapshots") are stored locally on the device.

c) Sharing Content
Users can manually share recorded routes or snapshots via third-party apps (e.g. messaging services). No data is automatically shared with third parties.

2. Storage & Access

Local storage: All data is stored exclusively on the device or – if iCloud is enabled – in the user's personal iCloud account.
No server connection: The developer has no access to any stored data, including location information, route history, or shared content.
Deletion: Data can be deleted manually by the user at any time via the app.

3. Legal basis

Data is processed based on the user's voluntary consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. This consent can be withdrawn at any time via the device's system settings (e.g. by disabling location access for the app).

4. Data security

The app uses iOS system-level security features to protect locally stored content against unauthorized access. No sensitive data is transmitted to external services.
